Hi, my name is Tanai and I am an Australian music lover. Since I was 6 years old, I have been playing and performing music on a variety of instruments including the piano, flute and violin. As I reached high school my desire to develop my skills increased and I limited my major to flute and piano. After high school I attended the Queensland Conservatory of music and majored in classical performance. It was there that I received extensive training in musical performance, theory skills, aural skills and learned various teaching methods. During this time, I started teaching piano lessons and have helped many students develop their musical skills. I am a passionate and determined teacher who aims to help any aged student achieve their musical endeavors.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
On your first lesson with the say and play program students will be asked to play any piano pieces they currently know so I can assess skill level and areas that need improvement. If it is the students first time learning piano I will start with teaching C position, finger strengthening exercises, note names and values. At the end of each lesson I set students with homework to improve technique, reading and also fun pieces for them to play.
Formal Education:
2 year Bachelor of music performance at the Queensland Conservatory of music.
Private Education:
Private music lessons from professional tutors during ages 6-current.
Performing Experience:
Extensive solo and orchestral experience.
Experience Teaching:
Mostly beginners and young children but can apply my methods to anyone.
