Crystal has always loved music from an early age. She began playing flute at the age of 10 and continued her education by studying for a Bachelors degree at Eastern Illinois University. Crystal's favorite thing about music is the ability to expres many different emotions and her favorite thing about teaching music is helping students find their voice. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when a student made a sound on the flute the very first time she tried.
