Hi, my name is Khalif, and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I have been a student of music for 8 years. My musical influences include Gospel, Contemporary Christian Music Jazz, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop and I also enjoy Fusion bands. My teaching style can best be described as personal learning and direct instruction. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I am patient, and here to see you grow as much as you want to. In my lessons, you can expect to learn fundamentals, technique, and how to approach music. I like to tell my students not to ever give up, keep trying. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing people start and finish better than when they came. I primarily teach Bass Guitar, but I can also teach Drum Set/Percussion and Beginner Piano.
