Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons
Home
My love for music started with my parent’s vinyl record collection in the middle 1970’s. My dad bought me an acoustic guitar when I was 11. I began some sight-reading as a Bass player in my high school jazz band in late 1980’s. I began studying Classical guitar variety in independent studies and junior college in 1992; That lead to developing sight-reading, variety improvisation skills, and a more precise skill in both playing and listening technique. I haven’t had a very exciting career but I have great taste; I’m a great sight-reader. I would like to be more helpful, informative, and successful as a teacher and instructor! I’m considering finishing more credits to help pursue a teaching career.
Degree and Field of Study:
Award Name:
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
I want the opportunity to succeed as a teacher/instructor. Students may find some rote practice schedule might be necessary requirement. Some selective listening might be helpful too. The beginner, intermediate, advanced categories may not always be accurate description of the difficulty level. Some techniques and ideas may not come quick but may be incredibly mastered with practice and focus. Having fun with it is great. Getting some great chops, technique, and/or theory can lead to a future of that fun.
