Noah has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums and guitar at the age of five and continued his education by attending Streetwise Music Instruction for drums and then switching over to guitar, taking lessons for about three years at the Ballantyne School of Music. His musical influences include AC/DC, Megadeth, Metallica, Seether, Blues Saraceno, as well as various artists from genres of hair metal to grunge rock. Noah's favorite thing about music is it gives you a chance to express your own individuality and creativity and his favorite thing about teaching music is he gets the opportunity to help a budding musician grow and develop into the musician they want to become. One of his favorite teaching experiences was helping one of my students to learn a song that they had been trying to teach themselves for months. When taking lessons with Noah you can expect to be introduced to many different styles of playing until you find one that works right for you. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
They can expect to learn how to read and write tabs for acoustic and electric guitar. They can expect to learn chord progressions and scales to use while playing. The student always determines at which pace the lesson will go. I do not pressure a student to reach a certain point at a certain time because I feel that it totally stifles the learning process. They can expect to have fun while learning and feel as if they have accomplished something when they leave their lesson.
What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner
They can expect to learn the many different beats and rudiments for playing drums. They can expect to learn all about different timing signatures and when and where to add rolls and fills. They will always determine the pace of the lesson and never feel as if they have not accomplished something in the end of their lesson.
