I am a composer and pianist currently located in Rochester, New York. I am from Tampa and recently completed my Bachelor's at the University of South Florida. As a pianist I specialize in contemporary music and have previously studied classical and jazz. I will be pursuing my Master's degree in composition in the Fall at the Eastman School of Music as a teaching assistant in the electronic music studio.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
As a piano teacher, I strongly believe in providing students with a variety sources of information to help the student not only learn piano, but to become well-rounded musicians. In addition to fundamentals through method books, I provide students with basic theory knowledge and regular repertoire listenings.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students learning songwriting will foremost be provided with a strong background in theory to learn the fundamental building blocks of music and have access to a large musical toolkit in their writing. Students will also learn basic familiarity with digital audio workstations such as garage band. Beyond these basic skills we will also work collaboratively, with lesson structures varying depending on each individual. Important topics covered include listening to repertoire, learning to articulate musical ideas and learning different creative approaches to songwriting.
