Carter has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano at the age of six and continued his education by practicing and studying profusely. His musical influences include Neil Young and Louis Armstrong. Carter's favorite thing about music is playing with equally enthusiastic musicians and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping other people find the same enjoyment in music as he does. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching my best friend how to play bass so he could join my band in high school. When taking lessons with Carter you can expect to learn what is necessary and gain a passion for playing.
