Mengyu began playing piano at the age of 5. Over the years, she developed her skills further by her professional learning in Conservatory. She gained performance experience in the piano performance area by playing at such venues as a soloist and with acts such as ensemble performer. Though Mengyu can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical music which had a great influence on her style of playing. Mengyu loves music because it has been a part of her life and loves teaching music because she wants to share her performing experience with others. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I will help them in the score learning at first, and then shape their own musicianship and different personalities in music. A different personality in its own music is very important for musicians. Also, I will expand their amount of repertoire lists, let them listen to different genres of music that could help their aspects of music.

Performing Experience:
In 2014 Jan. I played Mozart Sonata (KV.457) in the annual piano instruction performance. 2: In 2014 Sept. I played Double Piano Suite of Arensky with my classmate at the celebration concert of our school. 3: In 2015 Feb. I played Concerto in F Major by Mozart with the Oriental Symphony Orchestra. 4. After coming to ASU School of Music, I performed with several chamber music groups and played music such as 1. Mendelssohn Andante and Variations for piano four hands, Op. 83a 2. Poulenc Concerto for 2 pianos 3. Mozart Figaro Overture for piano six hands 4. Rachmaninoff suite for piano six hands and selections from Bizet’s Jeux D’enfants 5. Piano Trio in D minor by Franz Berwald 6. Piano Trio in D minor Op. 32 by Anton Arensky I also accompanied for a violinist's recital on this April.
Experience Teaching:
I’ve been given the master class of ASU Piano Pedagogy Class for Intermediate Level and finished the second year of piano pedagogy class for the intermediate student in ASU School of Music. I am also teaching for two years for students who are ages from 5 years old to 8 years old. They are in good shapes in music and performance skills.
