Hi, my name is Cameron. I am a classically trained double bass player, holding both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in performance, with performance experience in orchestral, jazz, and other forms of popular music. As an educator I have worked with Kid’s Orchestra, a non-profit outreach program that brings after-school music programs to elementary schools around the city. My teaching style is rooted in fundamentals; learning the basics of playing music, not just learning songs on your instrument. This method, while more challenging for the student, will lead to an over-all better understanding of their instrument of choice as well as a greater appreciation and understand of music in general.
