Camryn began playing the oboe at the age of 13. Over the years, she developed her skills further by lots of practice and listening to music of all kinds. She gained performance experience in the orchestral area by playing at such venues as Youngstown State University, Thiel College, and the OMEA All-State Convention. Though Camryn can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are solo rep, orchestral and wind band, which had great influence on her style of playing. Camryn loves music because it makes her happy and loves teaching music because she wants kids to experience the power of music.
