Hi, my name is Matt and I am a guitarist from Cleveland, Ohio. I have been a student of music for 25 years. My musical influences include classical and I also enjoy rock n' roll. My teaching style can best be described as fun and easy. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will make learning engaging and push you to get better. In my lessons, you can expect to learn scales, chords, and how to play your favorite songs. I like to tell my students there's no rush and playing music well can take a long time, so be patient with yourself. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students smiling and enjoying playing their favorite songs. My favorite performance was at the Whisky-A-Go-Go. My students love that I am encouraging and patient. I primarily teach guitar but I can also teach bass guitar, ukulele, and piano.
