Hi! I'm Jay, a college student currently on my way towards a music degree. I just spent two years at Duquesne University studying Music Education with a focus in orchestral percussion and drum kit. I also have an interest in singing and teaching vocals, both of which Duquesne's Music Education track and my participation in their choirs and private vocal lessons helped support. I've been playing various instruments since 2014 and began learning percussion the following year. I've studied with players out of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, the United States Navy Band, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in the styles of orchestral and general percussion, jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Latin drum kit, and large ensembles.
