Devin is a saxophonist currently earning his B.M in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas. As an alumni of Clark Middle School (2001-04) and Centennial High School (2004-08), Devin earned multiple individual and ensemble awards in both Classical and Jazz styles. Most notable of these awards were placing top 5 in the 2008 Texas All-State Jazz Competition, making the 2008 4A All-State Band, and being a member of the 2008 Honor Band Runner-Up.
A member of the UNT Jazz Program, Devin has played Alto, Tenor, and Soprano Saxophone, Flute, and Clarinet in the UNT 9, 7, and 6 O' Clock Lab Bands, and in the UNT Latin Jazz Lab Band. Devin occasionally plays with the Frisco Jazz Band, Frisco Community Band and tours/records with the Cervantes Jazz Orquestra.
Devin has recorded with both the UNT Latin Jazz Lab and Cervantes Jazz Orquestra; he will soon be leading a group in a recording session to be completed this Spring.
Devin has studied saxophone with Todd Gentzel, Chris Dickhaus, Flute with Gabriella Gimenes, Clarinet with Lin Sheng-Hsin and currently studies saxophone with Dr. Eric Nestler at the University of North Texas.

I am a graduate of Centennial High in Frisco, TX as of the award-winning Titan Band. Member and soloist in the Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Wind Symphony.
I am currently pursuing a B.M. in Jazz Performance at the world-renowned University of North Texas College of Music.
