Hello, my name is Mario and I've been playing sax for about twenty years. My musical influences include jazz artists like Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Kamasi Washington as well as modern popular artists like Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, and Kendrick Lamar. My teaching style can best be described as enthusiastic. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I teach students how to express their experience to the best of their ability. In my lessons you can expect to learn musical theory, style, and philosophy. I like to tell my students they are crushing it. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing my experiences. My favorite performance was my first improvised solo. My students love that I am honest. I primarily teach woodwinds, but I believe I can teach anyone. My approach as a teacher is to bring my best.
