Ryan has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums at the age of 15 and has been playing in live venues for 18 years. He furthered his musical education by taking lessons from a professional musician. His musical influences include The Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, and Metallica. Ryan's favorite thing about music is the freedom it gives and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping students find their own sound within them. When taking lessons with Ryan you can expect him to mold his teaching to best fit the individual student since everyone learns in their own way. What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I like to tailor my curriculum to suit their individual goals. I want each lesson to be relevant and engaging to their reason for wanting to learn. I lay a foundation in rudimentary knowledge and build from there. I break down complex aspects of drumming down to their roots and teach from the ground up. I will also help students with specific pieces of music they want to learn. Ultimately it's what's most relevant to them.
