Having worked with many groups over the past five years, Kevin is a well-trained and experienced bass player from the Cincinnati area. Kevin has enjoyed working with music groups include Tyler Moore Band, Kaleb Hensley Band, Jersey Joe with Steel Away, and This Pine Box. His work with various groups has allowed him to become a fluent musician in country, rock, pop, blues, funk, and jazz. During his last two years of high school, he received extended studies in bass guitar performance while attending Butler Tech School of the Arts in Hamilton, Ohio. Kevin currently studies jazz bass with Mr. Bill Jackson at Northern Kentucky University, with a focus in Instrumental Music Education. Kevin has prior training in performance with bass guitar, upright bass, piano, and special training in music theory and aural skills.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
Students can expect to be able to learn basic piano skills that will allow them to grow as a musician. My primary focus in piano lessons are making sure students understand the proper techniques and correct notes on the keyboard.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect to only learn material that will apply to their growth on the instrument. I believe that students grow more when they can learn material that they are interested in, and work at their own pace. The most important part of my lessons are the students, and making sure that the progress they are making, align with their goals, and that they are able to enjoy making music with other growing musicians.
Formal Education:
During his last two years of high school, Kevin attended Butler Tech School of the Arts, a performing arts high school in Hamilton, Ohio. There, he studied bass guitar performance and received training in multiple different genres ranging from pop and classic rock, to funk and jazz. Kevin currently studies upright and electric jazz bass with Bill Jackson at Northern Kentucky University, as well as studying classical bass with Ian Saunders.
