I attended Klein Oak High School where I made All-Region Orchestra all 4 years, made All-State twice, and performed at all Solo/ensemble contests receiving 1 outstanding performance medal as well as being number one rated all 4 years. Graduated class of 2003.
I went to University of North Texas where I performed with the Wind Symphony for 2 years and the Symphony Orchestra for 2 years. After I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music I took 3 semesters of Music Education courses including but not limited to: teaching of all orchestral instruments, 2 semesters of conducting a full orchestra, music theory and theoretical analysis, musical psychology, and teaching young children. Graduated class of 2007.
While in college I was a 2 year long member of the Orchestra of the Pines based in Nacogdoches, Tx, as a contracted musician. Also during college I taught lessons in Farmer's Branch ISD in Lewisville, Tx.
My goal is to teach on a regular basis and have serious students ready to learn and take their instrument to the next level.
