Austin has been burning up guitar strings for over 20 years now. As a Louisiana native and mostly self-taught musician, his influences range from jazz to rock to bluegrass. He has performed and toured in various musical acts across the south, and has graced the stages of Voodoo Fest and SxSW. His funky, soul-fired melodic style, combined with sharp attack and tasty leads ensures the groove won't be fakin and the hips will be shakin.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
In my lessons the students will be free to learn as they choose. If that means they want to tab out radio tunes or read chords out of a jazz fakebook etc., I will accommodate. Everyone has a different pace for learning, and its all about having fun doing it.
Formal Education:
I have studied basic theory at Louisiana State University.

Performed with Americana group The Southern Sparrows(2018).
