Sarah has always loved music from an early age. She began playing piano at the age of seven and continued her education through college. Her musical influences include JS Bach, Jean Sibelius, Gustav Holst, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Roger Waters, Muse, The Strokes, and The Black Keys. Sarah's favorite thing about music is the emotional connection and her favorite thing about teaching music is relating to another person through this connection. One of her favorite teaching experiences was teaching the Moonlight Sonata to a young student who understood the complexity of the piece. When taking lessons with Sarah you can expect her to listen through all the mistakes to see the bigger picture-you are a musician.
