I began my musical journey at an early age and went through many instruments before finding the drumset. I began playing at the age of 14 and for the past 10 years have practiced daily. I love to teach and always add in a little history, reading and writing of music and as much fun as my students can handle. When I work with students I like to get them accustom to playing with other musicians, if they are not already and after some hard work give them a chance to play for an audience. I also teach audio and video editing and recording and production. Recording some of our practice sessions and playing it back for criticism allows us to hone our skills and take it to the next level. I work with children-adult 8 yrs and older and teach from my home studio. Our household is home to 3 friendly cats. I have been playing for many years and teaching for around 14. I enjoy working with students 8 and up. I custom tailor my lessons to the students needs, whether they are working with the local church, their high school band or just want to learn something new, we work with your goals and give you the tools you need. In addition to the basic lessons I like to incorporate, history, reading and writing of music and as much fun as my students can handle. For the intermediate student we work with other musicians and on performance techniques. For the advance student we record your every move and critique your playing, your stroke levels, your balance and bodies energy. In addition to drums I also teach audio video editing recording mixing and mastering. I teach audio and video editing as well as radio show and podcast creation at the local college.
