Hello, my name is Derrick and I'm a long time working musician. Looking to take on more students for private lessons. Good and clean location in Midtown (Annesdale Park). What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Teachings on how to be apart of the rhythm section as well as theory.I like to have fun and teach songs. I can teach plenty of theory but I've found after teaching over the years students want to play songs. So that's what I do. I teach students how to break down songs and train their ears. Bass is half of the rhythm section. It is important for the bass to lock in with the drums rhythmically while also standing on its own. I teach the fundamentals that will change you from being someone that plays bass to being a BASS PLAYER

Pro Touring Player!! Averaged 180 shows/year from '06-'11!! Played in over 30 States including the Virging Islands! Top quality and top work ethic!! After 3 years of playing locally in the Memphis/North Mississippi area with various bands I'm heading back out on the road. I'm currently touring with McKenzies Mill. A GREAT Southern-Rock band coming out of Nashville, TN. This is what I do!!!!
