Howard began playing Percussion at the age 15. Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending the University of the Virgin Islands and obtaining his BA in Music Education. He gained performance experience in St.Thomas, US. Virgin Islands playing at venues such as Tavern on the Waterfront, Prior-Jolleck Hall, Reichold Center for the Arts. Though Howard can teach many different genres of music, his personal favorites are Jazz, Funk, and Gospel Fusion. Howard Loves music because it gives him a voice to express himself and loves teaching music because he helps others to express themselves. What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students should expect to be exposed to reading music and different concepts and techniques that can be done while reading to make them better musicians over-all.

Performing Experience:
Played with the University of the Virgin Islands Jazz Band for 6 years. Performed with the Platters Tribute Band. A member of the VI Jazz Collective.

Taught at Nisky Moravian School in the Virgin Islands. Taught with the Department of Education in the Virgin Islands.
