My story:
I have a college performance degree, independent touring, drumline instructor, private instructor, professional (signed) touring and recording, now back to teaching!
I teach in a very wholistic method, focusing on "getting it" first, followed by intense technique, followed by putting all the pieces together and making sounds so that the student leaves satisfied knowing they've made music.
I've lived in Pittsburgh, PA, Los Angeles, and now Seattle.
