Hello, my name is Victor and I am currently a Senior Music Education student at the University of Northwestern. I have been studying voice for almost 6 years now and I have taught for 3. I have performed in a number of solo competitions, operas, and choral concerts throughout high school and college. I am a fan of all musical genres, so whether you desire to sing classical or pop, I am in. I will work alongside you to establish healthier vocal technique, no matter your skill level. I have also taken private conducting lessons from professor David Kozamchak for 2 years. I had the opportunity to conduct Beethoven’s 1st symphony with the orchestra several times. I can teach fundamental conducting technique for those interested in any type of conducting. Although I have only been teaching for three years, my diverse educational experiences have equipped me with many resources to help you grow as a singer. My teaching philosophy can be summed up in one phrase: practice makes consistency. I have a very direct, but fun teaching style. Thank you for viewing my profile, hope to see you soon!
