About Me

Hi, my name is Joshua and I am a Violinist and vocalist from San Antonio. I have been a student of music for 16 years. My musical influences include Vanessa Mae and The Cherry Poppin Daddies I also enjoy Lindsey Sterling. My teaching style can best be described as energetic and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I take the visions you have for yourself and act as your guide to make them your reality. In my lessons, you can expect to learn sight reading, improvisation, stage presence, Choral, jazz, or rock vocals, I like to tell my students that the art of making others smile begins by having fun. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students improve day by day. My favorite performance was The Producers where I played various roles requiring different vocal styles. My students love that I customize everything their specific needs and confirm it's where they see themselves going with detailed plans. I primarily teach violin, and vocals bass 1 to tenor 2. My approach as a teacher is to learn who you are and customize the experience to how you learn. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
