Hi, my name is Christian and I am a musician from El Paso, TX. I have been a student of music for 20 years. And to be honest I am still a student of music. My musical influences include Deftones, Elliott Smith, Led Zeppelin, Yann Tiersen, pretty much almost every band ever known. My teaching style can best be described as customized and flexible. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I don’t believe in the tradition academic method, the student needs hands on experience and spend as little time on paper or books. In my lessons, you can expect to learn any goal you have set for yourself and I will help you accomplish it. I like to tell my students that music will never hurt you and never bother you to practice, but the instrument doesn’t lie. My favorite thing about teaching is the joy I feel when I see a student excited about what he’s doing. My favorite performance was playing a concert in Pasadena CA. My students love that I personalize their lessons. I primarily teach drums, but I can also teach piano, guitar, and recording basics. My approach as a teacher is to help accomplish my students goals.
