She began playing piano at the age of five and continued her education by taking lessons under Judith Fairchild and Samuel Viviano, both Memphis-area legends. Her musical influences include Rachmaninoff, The Beatles, and Munford and Sons. Dayna's favorite thing about music is the universal language of it, and her favorite thing about teaching music is instilling a passion for all kinds of music.
