About Me

My name is Cordele Stage name: Hawt Coco and I would love to help you crush the game as a musician. I’ve competed in world championship drumline competitions in both WGI and DCI, I’ve drummed for the Golden State Warriors, The San Francisco 49ers, and Disneyland’s Holiday Parades. I have over 10,000 plays on Soundcloud and my music has made it into commercials for TikTok, podcast intros, VR video games, underground warehouses and festival stages. I have a Master’s degree in Positive Developmental Psychology where I focused on creativity and wellbeing, and I’ve worked as an Experiential Educator for over 10 years. My main areas of expertise are percussion, electronic music production, and sound design. My ideal clients are just getting started with the drums, moving into beatmaking/production with a Digital Audio Workshop, and advanced artists looking for some further meaning, wellbeing, and joy in the creative process. I can offer you support, guidance, and targeted exercises for moving deeper into mastery, expert performance, and enjoyment of each day’s progress. What to expect in my Drum Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

My teaching style is rooted in rudiments, fundamentals, and proper technique, however I'm passionate about immediately applying these basics to the goals and interests of the students to keep it fresh, exciting, and creative!

What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce

Beginner - Intermediate

I've been producing electronic music in Ableton Live and FL Studio since 2011. I have experience with hip-hop, R&B, dubstep, drum n bass, techno, future bass, psy-trance, and my own weird mix of all of these influences. Arrangement, sound design, drum synthesis, mixing, layering, and creative processes are all things that my production lessons cover.
