Hi all! My name is Gwynne, and I am a o excited to hear about your musical goals! Gwynne has performed in musicals since the age of 7, and hasn’t stopped since. She attended the Boston Conservatory at Berklee gaining a BFA in Musical Theatre. She also won the Virginia alliance of teachers of singing competition for musical theater 1st place and classical 2nd place. She is well versed in many styles, specializing in musical theater and pop/rock. She enjoys teaching students how to not be scared of vocal expression, the art of ornamentation/riffs, and singing healthily for a sustainable sound. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
- Intermediate - Advanced
We’ll do some brief warm-ups together to make sure we’re in a healthy place to start. Then we’ll do a 1st sing through of a song, I’ll give suggestions for technicality first. Then we’ll go over interpreting the song and the choices you can make to express the meaning of the song to the fullest. This whole time I additionally implement recording, karaoke tracks, and a bit of piano to supplement our lessons. We’ll also have a “dream song” to work on near the end of every lesson to work through on a more long term basis, showing progress as we continue!
