Kemi began playing piano at the age of 5. Over the years, she developed her music skills further by leaning various instruments, like saxophone, Chinese flute, keyboard percussion instruments and drums. She gained performance experience in the U.S. by playing with wind ensemble and she also had her two Master's Solo Recitals done successfully. She had traveled to Europe and studied with excellent professors there. Moreover, together they made a wonderful concert for the audience in Europe. Before came to the U.S., she studied in China where she received a bunch of awards for her outstanding professional ability. Though Kemi can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are piano and percussion which had great influence on her style of playing. Kemi loves teaching music because she believes that teaching music is a way of healing and a way of expressing.
