Hello! I started learning piano at the age of 7. I studied for 9 years at the Yamaha Music School in Fredericksburg, VA. I moved in to the world of playing professionally in bands after school. My primary band, Robot Surfer, has played multiple states and several cities including New York, Richmond and D.C.. Currently, I play solo and record and produce music from home.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
- Advanced
Students will get the chance to learn basic song structure as well as more advanced composition, depending on interest level. Students can choose if they would like to focus on music, lyrics or both.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
- Advanced
Complete and comprehensive instruction on scales, chords, and finger placement. Heavy focus on musicality and rhythm, rather than reading music and music theory. Great for anyone interested in trying the piano to see if it’s a good fit. If the student enjoys learning the basics, my class will give them a great foundation to pursue more formal classes. If the student is interested in further instruction with mepast the basics, focus will be on playing in a band and keyboards (rather than acoustic piano). Classes are great for busy schedules as well. We can accomplish a lot in 20-30 minutes just a few times a week depending on how quickly a student absorbs the material.
