Hi, my name is Ryan and I am a bass player from Denton! I have been a student of music for 4 years and I am currently in the band 'The Shortlist'. My musical influences include Bass, guitar, drums, and piano, and I also enjoy recording and producing music. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed and patient.
My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that learning an instrument is easiest and most effective when it is fun, so it is my job to make it fun. In my lessons, you can expect to learn songs, improve strength, and learn foundational theories of music. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing something click for a student in real time. My favorite performance was when I performed with my band at the House of Blues in Dallas. My approach as a teacher is to make the "boring" parts of practice applicable to ones playing in order to make them fun.
