Hi, my name is Emily and I am a music alum from Northwestern University. I have been a student of music for as long as I can remember! My musical influences include my family, my conductors and my professors at Northwestern. I enjoy classical as well as commercial music. My teaching style can best be described as holistic, enthusiastic, and motivating! In my lessons, you can expect to learn to play the instrument, but more importantly play music. My favorite thing about teaching is the excitement for learning and getting to share the experience of music! I primarily teach trumpet and guitar but I can also teach beginning piano.
