Hi, my name is Nathan and I am drummer and percussionist from FT Myers Fl. I have been involved in various forms of drums and percussion all my life.

My musical influences are diverse and range from Hip-Hop to Classical and everything in between the two. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed and cool, but disciplined about the craft. My teaching philosophy is what I refer to as an "Open Book" in which you tell me your goals and we discuss how to get you there as well as other aspects you do not know of to get you there, but you have to be open to the training.

In my lessons, you can expect to learn; the basic rudiments and hybrid rudiments(we have to get your hand working!), (if you choose to) how to read music and what the notes and their names mean, correct grips for drum-set, concert, and Corps Style drumming. Correct techniques for timpani and concert multi-percussion, Basic mallet percussion technique for concert percussion. Scales; (Major,Minor,Harmonic,Diminished).

I DO NOT have a set teaching path. I teach you what you want to learn. I like to tell my students that its really up to them what we do. I'm just a guide to get them to their potential! My favorite thing about teaching is seeing a student exceed their goals and keep pushing to be better players! My favorite performance was my final performance with the Marine Corps 3D MAW Band, in which we performed annually at Disneyland in CA for 4th of July. It was a day long performance in which our Marching Band performed the traditional Colors Ceremony which was followed by a parade through the park and an evening concert that had performances from our Traditional Marching Band, Concert Band, Big Band Jazz Orchestra, New Orleans Brass Band, and our Top 40 Rock, POP, and Country Band. I performed in every ensemble and was exhausted by the end of the night, but it was an amazing way to end my career with such an outstanding group of musicians.
