Hi, my name is Megan! I have been a student of music for 9 years, throughout high school, my undergraduate degree, and now my masters at the Peabody Conservatory! My musical influences include Fleming, Netrebko, and Oropesa! I also enjoy running, cooking and spending time with my dog. I strive to teach my students to work 'Smarter NOT Harder.' In lessons, we focus on growing the voice to its full potential, while maintaining a healthy technique.
I train my students in Bel Canto beautiful singing, as well as teaching the physiological understanding of the voice as an instrument. As singers, we ARE our instruments, and this is something I encourage my students to be consciously aware of. Singing can be a form of self-expression and a true passion. I encourage my students to find a love for singing and enjoy lessons.
In my lessons, you can expect to learn various styles of music such as art songs, arias and musical theatre pieces. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
