Hi there! I am so glad you share the same passion in music as I do! I cannot remember a time when I did not play some type of instrument. I started learning the piano when I was 5 and the violin in 3rd grade. Ever since, I have been in chamber ensemble and orchestra for more than 10 years! Through my time at Northwestern University, I learned almost every instrument, specializing in string instruments. I studied violin performance under renowned violinist Desiree Ruhstrat and performed with a quartet. I taught choir, band, and orchestra in schools and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Music was my way of expressing emotions and connecting with others. However, my musical journey was by no means smooth. There were many challenges, setbacks, falling and getting back up, but thanks to my teachers, who continue to inspire me to this day, I am able to grow in my musical journey everyday. That is why I have aspired to become a music teacher! I want to bring out the same joy and sense of accomplishment in you that I have experienced through learning music! So what are you waiting for?
