Hello, my name is Jackson and I am a guitarist and audio engineer from Frederick, Maryland. My musical influences include classic rock and classic jazz to modern rock and metal, but I also enjoy classical music. My teaching style can best be described as old school where my main objective is getting you to your dream prowess on guitar, bass, or audio engineering in the most efficient and effective way. My teaching philosophy is to build a solid musical foundation in each student so that more advanced skills are easily learned. In my lessons you can expect to learn songs, scales, chords, theory, to read music, rhythm, learn effectively on your own, improvise, play in a band, work on your instrument and equipment. For more advanced students flashy guitar work like sweep and economy picking, tapping, chord and melody solo guitar arrangements, phrasing refinement, learning songs by ear, advanced music theory, tracking, mixing, mastering and producing at home or in a studio environment. I like to tell students there is nothing you can't do that you set your mind to. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students make use of such a valuable skill.
