Hello, my name is Max, and I have graduated with a performance degree from USF. I studied double bass and music theory, and I would be happy to help you with all your music related tutoring needs. I have many years of experience as a musician professionally and have been playing violin, double bass, and electric bass for over 10 years. In addition, I have studied music since the age of 10 with very qualified teachers from professional orchestras. I have also taken many music theory lessons with highly qualified teachers at USF and outside of music school. I am greatly passionate about music, and I would love to share that passion with students and help to achieve their musical goals whatever they may be!

What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
During my first lesson, I try to assess the skills, knowledge, and aspirations of my students. I use the first lesson as a springboard to further their goals with the instrument and to come up with a individualized learning plan that suits their musical needs. This lesson usually involves conversation about their favorite musicians, technique, music theory, and what they want to do with the instrument. I usually analyze technique and give out tips and tricks on improving issues that afflict many bass players. I hope this helps you get a sense of how I am as a teacher. I want to help my students become the best musicians that they can be in all areas of their playing. Music is a journey, and I hope that I will be the one to help you start navigating.

Bachelor's of Music Performance from the University of South Florida
Private Education:
I have taken over 14 years of private lessons from various teachers.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in band settings, important productions of musicals and orchestral events, and have had miscellaneous music jobs around Tampa Bay.

I have taught K-8 and have had several private students for 2 years now.
