My name is Gideon. I have been playing music since I was 12. I have 5 years of drumming experience. I mainly play drumset but I am very proficient in many other forms of percussion. I can play marching instruments Such as snare drum, Marching Tenors, Bass Drum, or cymbals, but I also can play almost any concert percussion instrument including but not limited to timpani, cowbell, tambourine, woodblock, etc. I can and have played all 40 of the drumming rudiments, and know how to play every kind of rhythm until you get to college-level playing You will not need a tutor if you ever get a level where you can play these. Disclaimer: I am a student athlete with a job so my time is limited but is also not accurate to what it says on my availability. If you want me to teach you or your child please message me and we can work out the schedule. If you live a little farther than 11 miles I can also make that work in some cases.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students learning the basics can expect to learn good techniques, ranging from how to hold the stick all the way to proper practicing rhythms and rudiments. Intermediate players will learn how to play in time, how to play more complex rhythms, balance, controlled speed, and different kinds of beats. Students will learn at their own rate taking as much time as they need to properly learn the techniques. I will not advance a student until I feel they are ready to move on to the next level.
