Kayla has always loved music from an early age. She began playing percussion at the age of nine and continued her education by attending graduate school.. Her musical influences include her professors and teachers throughout her musical journey. Kayla 's favorite thing about music is the story told and her favorite thing about teaching music is the excitement that her students get when they accomplish something. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when she found out that one of her students had a natural talent for drum set. When taking lessons with Kayla you can expect to learn not only aspects of your instrument, but also life lessons along the way.
