Khaner has always loved music from an early age. He began playing percussion at the age of eight and continued his education at Central Washington University in Ellensburg. His musical influences include Jeff Hamilton, Buddy Rich, John Mayer, Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak, Jacob Collier, Stevie Wonder, and the Beatles. Khaner's favorite thing about music is creating a moment that can't be expressed through words and his favorite thing about teaching music is igniting the passion for someone else. One of his favorite teaching experiences was instructing an elementary student who you could tell loved music and was fascinated by making new sounds.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Guitar is an instrument of exploration for me. There will be a focus on harmony, proper technique, and understanding the fret board. I will teach my students to feel confident in their ears and music theory. It is my goal for you to be able to jam and connect with other musicians.
What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Drums are my area of expertise. I can answer questions you have for any genre and teach you how to play with your own personal style to stand out from the heard. You will be more than a drummer, we will work together to make you the musician you've always wanted to be. There will be a focus on technique, grooves, good practice habits, improvisation, and maintenance.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
When writing songs structure is imperative. Through composition strategies you will learn how to take a three second motif and turn it into a masterwork. The most important quality for a song writer is an imagination. We will breakdown your favorite songs and learn how to recreate them in your own way. This will have a focus on ear training and music theory.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
In todays music world producers are the leaders of the industry. We will go over sampling, DAW's, live recording, studio recording, working with session musicians, and how to make your sound reach the world. With just a laptop you can sound like the pro's in LA.
