Review About Me
I have been playing and studying the trumpet since 1973. I am proficient in Jazz and Classical styles and have music degrees from both UCLA BA and Rutgers University MA. I taught trumpet for 7 years at Bethune-Cookman University and have written several articles on Brass pedagogy and Jazz Studies for the ITG Journal. I am looking to help students who want to learn how to get better as musicians and to have more fun playing the trumpet. I am also looking for students who play other instruments and are interested learning Jazz styles.

Intermediate - Advanced
My students will learn about the fundamentals of sound production on the Trumpet. They will also learn what to practice and how to practice in order to progress as musicians. Most importantly, they will learn how to play music with some feeling and confidence.
