Hi, My name is Ricky and I am a musician from Southern California. I have been a student of music for 20 years. My musical influences include artists like FooFighters all the way to Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift. My teaching style can best be described as easy going and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want to make sure you are having fun. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to sing, write songs. I like to tell my students patience is key. My favorite thing about teaching is helping people know what it feels like to be a part of music, its an incredible experience. In my classes you will learn the basic skills to start writing songs and we will work out way up to advanced song writing techniques used by your favorite artists in the industry. The most important thing is that I can pass on this incredible gift songwriting has been to me to help me through hard times in my life.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Learn how to start playing guitar at a basic level, and acquire the muscle memory and knowledge of basic chords and strumming patterns.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
In my lessons it will range anywhere from basic vocal exercises to get you started on your vocal journey all the way to specific techniques to help you master the skills you’ve been aiming towards for years. I’ve been singing for over 20 years and I will pass down everything I’ve learned from my years of singing to thousands on stages to a couple people in a coffee shop. I’m excited to get started.
