Scott is a guitarist and songwriter with over 40 years experience playing professionally. He operates his own recording studio at his home. He has played primarily Rock and Metal and has also played Country and Blues. He has a passion for many types of music: in addition to the genres noted above, he also has a strong appreciation for Bluegrass, Jazz and Classical music. He is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in psychology. Scott's focus as a guitar instructor is to not only assist students in building strong guitar skills but also develop a variety of other important skills such as recording, songwriting and "survival skills" for the music business. He strives to facilitate the maximum development of the essence most important to all great musicians: CREATIVITY!
