Tyler has always loved music from an early age. She began singing before she could even speak and at the age of 12 learned piano and ukulele. She continued her education by taking private lessons and studying choir in college. Her musical influences include Lana del Rey and Billie Eillish. Tyler's favorite thing about music is the opportunity for expression and her favorite thing about teaching music is allowing students to explore new sides of their creativity. One of her favorite teaching experiences was getting to be the vocal captain of "The Sound of Music" and working with the nuns to nail their 5-part harmonies in Latin.
