Hi, my name is Alexis and I am an 18 year old pianist from El Paso. I have been a student of music for about 14 years. My musical influences include classical, movie scores, and the music I love to listen to. Although I am mainly a pianist, I was a first chair violist during middle school and even went to All-Region. Because of my love for orchestra I am skilled in piano, viola, violin, cello, and double bass.
I enjoy working with students so that they can learn to love the instrument as much as I do. I barely give any homework as I understand that this is a struggle for children to keep up with along with their school homework especially for music classes, and all I ask is that they practice their pieces at home. Although I may give my students some pieces for them to learn, I love to let them learn and play songs they choose. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!

I will begin each lesson with warm-ups and scale practices. Then I continue with working on whatever piece of music theory we are covering for that lesson. Once that is completed we will begin to work on our piece that we are learning. Although I am well-versed in classical and acoustic music, we will explore new genres in order to create a well-rounded musician.

I will begin each lesson with warm-ups and scale practices. Then I continue with working on whatever piece of music theory we are covering for that lesson. Once that is completed we will begin to work on our piece that we are learning.
