What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Students should expect to cover fundamental materials which are essential to producing, recording, mixing, and mastering music. Some topics we will cover include microphones, preamps, compression, distortion, gain staging/loudness, equalization, instrumentation, harmonic series, and basic room acoustics. My most frequent genres are Rock, Pop, Metal, and Jazz, but we can focus on genres of music which the student is specifically interested in.
