Proper techniqe and posture will be a big focus as we progress. Focus will be on rudiment and groove, although for intermediate and advanced student we will explore everything from odd time signatures, beat subdivision, and very demanding hand/foot independence exercises to prepare you for any type of music from gospel to extreme metal. Metronome focus will be embedded in each lesson as well.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Learning proper technique is most important, evolving into learning about notes and how they evolve into chords and how they are based on scales. Metronome and posture will be a big part of progression along the way as well. For advanced students we will talk about augmentation and modal thought in addition to advanced picking and fingering technique.
