My name is Tommy. I have been playing drums since 1996. I started learning rhythm guitar in 1998. I played drums in Marching Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band. I started learning piano in 2009 due to a broken foot. I became a drummer for a local Country/Southern Rock band in 2011, and did that for 2 years. In 2013, I started recording in a small home studio, and began solo performing in public. That consisted of me singing covers while playing piano or acoustic guitar. I currently have a recording studio business. That allows me to work on others projects, as well as continue my drumming, guitar playing, piano playing, and songwriting for my own projects. And I still perform solo shows consisting of piano and guitar covers, and my own original songs on guitar. I don'thave a lot of formal teaching experience, but I have instructed many fellow ccolleaguesith difficulties they have had, and provided much free help to family and friends. In doing this, I am trying to combine my work ethic with my passion for music.

Beginner - Intermediate
This is by far the subject that I have the most experience in. I have performed many styles on many stages and in many settings throughout the 25+ years that I have been drumming. Out of everything that I teach, I will go in depth almost to a fault while teaching drums and percussion.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner -
With me, it's all about the story. When I write a song, I have a story that I want to tell. You will be looking deep inside yourself to help you say what you need to say. There is no correct way or incorrect way to write a song.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner -
You will learn to do the hard work and heavy lifting in the beginning, rather than the "fix it in the mix" approach. That starts with the best arrangement. Then the best recording of that arrangement. And so on. The goal is to do the best job at every step. That makes each additional step easier.
