Hi, my name is Yasmeen and I am a horn player/teacher from Los Angeles, CA. Before receiving my Masters from the Peabody Conservatory, I freelanced around Southern California; playing on the 47th Annual Grammy Awards w/Chance the Rapper and FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen. I have been a student of music for about 13 years, and my musical influences include artists from Brahms to Beyoncé. My teaching style can best be described as being specific to each student’s musical and emotional needs. I’ve taught students jazz, classical, hip-hop, gospel, etc.; as my teaching philosophy can best be described as being diverse, flexible, fun, and challenging. In lessons, you can expect to learn ALL major/minor scales 1-2 octaves but everything else is up to us! Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
